My name is Liz Hatch and I’m a 20-year-old with a bubbly, optimistic, and loud personality. I promise you can’t miss me when I’m out and about! Currently, I attend Drake University where I’m studying a bunch of things in both media productions and design, but my career goal is to become a videographer in the country music industry! It only took me 19 years to figure out what I want to be, but I couldn’t be more excited to pursue my dream career one day!
It actually took me until close to the end of my first year at college to decide what I want to do with my life. I took some time to myself to really figure out what I’m most passionate about, and it dawned on me that my greatest passions are video, editing, and music. All my life, I’ve wanted a career that I will enjoy and be excited to go to everyday.
Honestly, it’s crazy, that I’m 20 now, but still waiting for my life to start. I decided to start this blog to show you guys how I’m taking action in my life to achieve my goals. I also want to share my experiences, helpful tips, and topics that I’m interested in. One of my small goals right now is to become a social media influencer and TikTok famous. I really want to inspire the world and show people that it doesn’t matter where you come from, but as long as you are motivated, you can make a name for yourself.
My favorite hobbies include horseback riding, going on hikes, walking my dog, photography, traveling, and going on adventures. I may not seem like a daredevil, however, if there is one thing I want to do in my life, it is to swim with great white sharks in the ocean. Sharks are by far my favorite creature in the world, but I feel they are undervalued just by their looks. Maybe I’ll make a TikTok with them one day; wouldn’t that be crazy!
Lastly, I would like to share one piece of advice that I’ve learned throughout my life so far that has truly shaped me. You are NOT being selfish, for putting yourself first. This last year during the pandemic, I have changed my life and have grown so much by making myself a priority. I hope you all think about this and take control of your life!
